AMPLIFYING WISCONSIN MUSICIANS WMPodcast interviews local Wisconsin musicians on their journey from their first group, solo endeavor, hired studio work, local community groups, and more, to their present day activities in the local music scene. We will also talk with music businesses and music organizations. We’ll talk about their origin story, what their influences are, what they do to hone their talents and their skills to be where they are today. What they feel is not only suffocating the local music scene, but, better yet, what they feel is helping push the local scene into the limelight. Also hear about gigs they’ve played that made an impression on them and why. . . and much more.

Episode 10: Danoma and Scarlet Morning
Danoma
When modern rock band Donoma decided to head back in to the
studio to record their third full length album, they decided it
wasn’t enough to match the success of 2017’s “Falling Forward”.
That would be fine for many bands as that record gained them
airplay on more than 120 terrestrial radio stations and helped
them secure direct concert support for the likes of Soul Asylum,
Meat Puppets, Candlebox, Tantric, and Rusted Root along with
many top billing shows. For this album the band put three simple
rules in place. First, to lyrically examine the world around them
and to not shy away from stating where they stood. Second, to
keep production to a minimum. And finally, to make a cohesive
album that re-imagined rock and roll’s glory days.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Scarlet Morning Is a band bound by fate. Drawn together by a love of music and a chance at redemption through our music. Everything we have gone through and overcome has brought us to these moments, this band and this sound. We offer you a taste of hard rock, alternative and metal overtones headlined by our fearless leader Kegan Sessions. Through life’s usual trials and a loss of limb, Kegan has risen from the ashes to relearn his instrument and his craft and overcome his amputation. We create songs that breathe life into the hearts of all who listen. Forever searching for the next ear to absorb and believe in the messages we project. Accompanied by a decade old pairing (from previous projects apart from Kegan) of Mikel Palm on bass guitar and Adam James on drums, this trio seeks to take over the world of rock music....

Line Of Sight
Line of Sight was a collaboration of my cousin Krystle on vocals, my Uncle, Billy, a family friend, Fred Christiansen, and myself.
In this group I got to be experimental, not only on the drums (Carter Beauford, of Dave Matthews Band fame, was very influential in that time of my life - not saying I was anywhere near his level, but he was very influential to me), but also in the recording and producing chair.
Krystle Fell: Vocals
Billy Fell: Guitars
Kyle Fell: Bass (1st Song)
Fred Christiansen: Bass
Zach Fell: Drums/Percussion/Saxophones/Recording and Mixing Engineer
