What they feel is not only suffocating the local music scene, but, better yet, what they feel is helping push the local scene into the limelight. - Lizzy Cichowski is the city administrator for Make Music Milwaukee and the outreach and events coordinator with Brass Bell Music Store. This year she is working with both groups to plan Make Music Milwaukee, the free, citywide, celebration of music on June 21st. Make Music Milwaukee is a chapter of Make Music Day, which is an international day of music celebrated in over 1,000 cities across the world. Make Music Day started in 1982 in France and takes place at parks, sidewalks, museums, businesses, porches...wherever you can find to make music!
